Terminal OperatorThe facility is expanding its workforce to maintain 24/7 continuous operations for moving shipping containers across its high-volume Columbus rail and logistics park.Safely and efficiently operate heavy yard equipment and manage ground logistics to keep freight moving on time within a unionized, fast-paced intermodal facility.Drive hostlers and big rigs to position containers and chassis, backing up under cranes and parking in designated spots.Connect and disconnect hitches and air hoses, clipping and unclipping safely on the ground crew.Climb up and down rail cars while performing pre- and post-use equipment inspections.Maintain clear lines under cranes and coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.Valid driver's license (no CDL required) and open availability for swing or night shifts, weekends, and holidays.Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, climb ladders/stairs on railcars, and lift up to 50 lbs.Strong commitment to safety protocols in a strict, high-priority industrial environment.
