Maintenance Technician/Electrician

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician/Electrician at our manufacturing Plant located in Orlando. If you meet our qualifications and have an interest the following responsibilities, we encourage you to apply!

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, emphasis on electrical know how

· Industrial electrical and mechanical skills

· Knowledge of assembling, installing and repairing electrical and mechanical components and systems

· Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct them

· Time management skills and the ability to work well in a team setting

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints for renovation and repair purposes

· Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting.

· Experience operating and maintaining roll-forming equipment, CNC machinery, and brake presses.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for ensuring proper plant maintenance including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs

· Troubleshoot by observing mechanical devices in operation, by listening for problems and/or by using precision measuring and testing instruments

· Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets and assembly schematic drawings

· Replace or repair faulty electrical components

· Calibrate and adjust all electrical/electronic equipment

· Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools

· Answers questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenance

· Minor programming and maintenance for programmable logic controller-based equipment

· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines

· Uses LOTOTO procedures to demonstrate familiarity with site safety precautions
