About the Position

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to join our property management team as a Rental Marketing Assistant .

Your primary responsibility will be to help us rent our available properties quickly and effectively through strategic online marketing, compelling property listings, and proactive attention to the details that make a rental property attractive to prospective residents.

This isn't just a position where you'll post advertisements and wait for inquiries. We're looking for someone who will take ownership of the marketing process, continually evaluate what's working (and what isn't), and actively look for ways to make our rental properties stand out in a competitive market.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, enjoys using technology and creative tools, has a good eye for presentation, and understands that successful marketing is ultimately measured by results.

Rental Advertising & Online Marketing

• Create, publish, and maintain attractive rental advertisements across online listing platforms, social media, and other marketing channels.

• Write engaging, accurate, and informative property descriptions that highlight each property's best features.

• Regularly review active listings to ensure accuracy, completeness, visual appeal, and competitiveness.

• Identify opportunities to improve advertising performance and increase interest in available rentals.

• Monitor listing activity and recommend adjustments to marketing strategies when needed.

Property Photography & Visual Marketing

• Review existing property photographs and select the most effective images for marketing.

• Edit and enhance listing photos as appropriate to improve presentation while maintaining accuracy.

• Utilize AI-powered virtual staging tools to help prospective residents visualize vacant properties.

• Create property floor plans using online applications and digital tools.

• Occasionally visit properties to take updated photographs or gather additional marketing materials.

• Maintain consistent, professional-quality presentation across rental advertisements.

Prospective Resident Communication

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries generated through rental advertisements and social media.

• Answer questions about available properties, rental features, pricing, availability, and the leasing process.

• Help prospective residents obtain the information they need to make informed rental decisions.

• Coordinate with our leasing team to ensure interested prospects receive appropriate follow-up.

Property Evaluation & Marketing Improvements

• Visit available rental properties to evaluate their appearance, presentation, and overall marketability.

• Identify conditions or features that may negatively impact a property's desirability, such as cleanliness, maintenance concerns, landscaping, or presentation.

• Communicate observations and recommend improvements to help properties rent more effectively.

• Review feedback from prospective residents who have toured properties to identify recurring concerns or opportunities for improvement.

• Help evaluate why certain properties may be receiving limited interest or remaining vacant longer than expected.

Leasing Support

• Occasionally assist with property showings or provide access to prospective residents, vendors, or other authorized parties.

• Coordinate with team members to ensure properties are ready to be marketed and shown.

• Support the overall leasing process as needed to help minimize vacancy periods.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong written communication skills and can create engaging, professional advertisements.

• Is detail-oriented and takes pride in producing accurate, polished work.

• Has a good eye for photography, visual presentation, and design.

• Is comfortable learning and using new software, online platforms, and AI-powered tools.

• Can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through without constant supervision.

• Is proactive and enjoys identifying problems and finding practical solutions.

• Communicates professionally and courteously with prospective residents and team members.

• Is organized, dependable, and responsive.

• Has reliable transportation and the ability to occasionally visit properties in person.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Experience managing social media accounts or online advertising.

• Familiarity with photo editing, Canva, AI virtual staging, or similar creative tools.

• Experience with rental listing platforms such as Zillow, Apartments.com, Facebook Marketplace, or similar websites.

• Basic photography skills or an interest in real estate photography.

We value initiative, creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn just as much as previous industry experience.

This is a part-time, in-office position based at our Logan, Utah office. While most responsibilities involve online marketing and computer-based work, the position also requires occasional visits to rental properties for photography, property evaluations, showings, and other leasing-related activities.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with our property management team while being capable of independently managing their responsibilities and taking initiative to improve marketing results.
