Job Description Minimum 1+ year school psychologist experience required. Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team. This full-time position involves working closely with students, families, and staff to provide prehensive social work services that support students' academic and social-emotional development. The ideal candidate will be mitted to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Develop and implement intervention plans to support student well-being and success. Provide individual and group counseling to students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address student needs. Connect students and families with munity resources and services. Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. Position Details: Full-time: 37.5 hours per week Educational Requirements: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred. Strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and social-emotional learning. Michigan Certifications: Valid MichiganProfessional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement. pletion of all necessary continuing education requirements to maintain certification.
