Ameritech Contracting is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Constructive Scheduler to join our Operations Team. This role will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 . The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, progress tracking, and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6 across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and operations staff to establish baselines, milestones, and critical paths.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, variance analysis, and schedule impact assessments.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate schedule performance to leadership and clients.
- Identify potential risks and delays, propose recovery plans, and support proactive problem-solving.
- Maintain historical schedule data for use in forecasting and future project planning.
- Support resource loading and allocation within the schedule to align manpower and equipment with project needs.
- Coordinate schedule reviews and updates with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in scheduling for construction or federal contracting operations.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required).
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
