Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - LTAC

Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule: 5 x 8-hour days

Requirements:

• TX PTA License (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with rehabilitation exercises and mobility training.
• Help patients use assistive devices and maintain safety during therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes:

• All requested time off must be listed at submittal.
• Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Orientation modules are non-billable and should be completed onsite. Estimated time is 23 hours.
