Job Description This respiratory therapy contract positions you at a busy Level II Trauma Center in Bellingham, WA. You’ll be working primarily night shifts, with occasional day shifts, providing care across various units including the ER, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Peds, and Medical Floors. Expect to manage cases involving COPD, SOB, Sepsis, and Asthma, utilizing advanced equipment like Draegger, V60, Vapotherm, and Hamilton T-1. The role involves performing pulmonary diagnostics and supporting acute care with a minimum of one year of RRT experience, preferred experience in ICU or Pediatrics, and necessary certifications including RRT, ACLS, and PALS. Start as soon as possible for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you’ll switch between day and night shifts based on unit needs, working within a short-term acute care setting with a focus on fast-paced and varied respiratory care interventions.
