Infusion RNJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Registered Nurse (RN), you will expertly apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide safe, therapeutic care for patients of all ages, aligning with our Mission and Core Values. Every day you will provide total patient care, assist in managing care administered by other staff, and assume responsibility for your assignments, including relief charge nurse duties as needed. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles, effectively collaborate with the healthcare team, and take accountability for patient outcomes.Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient careImplements patient histories, assesses patient's conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients.Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolutions of problemsAssesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning to implement patient education and documents teachingAdministers and controls narcotics and medications accurately and in a timely manner and signs out narcotics and medications according to hospital policyMaintains accurate documentation of patient's progress, nursing care, records and reportsJob RequirementsRequiredGraduate of an accredited School of NursingOne (1) year acute care experience as an RNActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of CaliforniaBasic Life Support - CPR (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart AssociationOncology Certified Nurse, within 90 DaysPreferredOne (1) year oncology/chemotherapy experienceBachelors Degree in health related fieldWhere You'll WorkFounded in 1951, Dignity Health at Mark Twain Medical Center is a 25-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in San Andreas, California.
