School Psychologist For 2024-25 School Year - Winton, NC ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Winton, NC. This is a full-time contracted position within a supportive school district committed to the well-being and academic success of its students. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of psychological principles and practices, a passion for working with children and adolescents, and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans. Provide individual and group counseling to students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and emotional health. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and concerns. Offer crisis intervention and develop prevention programs. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Strong understanding of IDEA and other relevant federal and state regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
