CASHIER/BDC

The Automotive Cashier / BDC Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by handling cashier transactions, answering inbound calls, scheduling appointments, and supporting dealership sales and service operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and helps drive dealership traffic through effective communication and appointment coordination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cashier Responsibilities Process customer payments accurately via cash, check, credit card, or financing methods. Issue receipts, refunds, and change when applicable. Reconcile and balance cash drawer daily. Close repair orders and service invoices. Maintain accurate accounting and transaction records. Assist customers with billing questions and payment inquiries. Ensure all transactions comply with dealership policies and procedures. BDC Responsibilities Answer inbound phone calls professionally and promptly. Schedule and confirm service appointments. Make outbound follow-up calls to customers regarding appointments, missed appointments, declined services, and marketing campaigns. Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems. Coordinate customer communication between sales, service advisors, and management teams. Follow dealership scripts and processes to maximize appointment show rates. Monitor lead activity and ensure timely follow-up. Promote dealership products, services, specials, and customer retention programs. Customer Service Expectations Provide a professional, friendly, and positive customer experience at all times. Handle customer concerns with patience and professionalism.
