We collaborate closely with feature teams, backend services, design, and product to keep the mobile app reliable, fast to build on, and moving forward for learners.About the Role:We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join UX Foundations. You'll split your time between owning core iOS app layers — shared libraries, SDKs, security, CI/CD, and the release process — that every feature team builds on, and shipping user-facing features directly. Both are core to the role, not one occasional on top of the other.In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers while driving projects from ideation through release. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating intuitive, performant, and reliable mobile experiences that have a real impact on learners worldwide.This role is open to remote candidates anywhere in the US, as well as candidates based in our San Francisco or New York offices. If you're based in SF or NY, we ask that you come into the office 2 days per week: Wednesday and Thursday, or as needed by your manager or the company.
