Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 4 NICU experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a children's hospital.

Details

• Position is based in a children's hospital NICU
• Level 4 NICU patient population; cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Night shift: 7pm–7am (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Unit uses a self-scheduling model; preferred schedule will be accommodated as much as possible
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• RRT certification required and must be held in-hand at time of consideration
• Active state license required; VA license pending may be accepted provided a temp license can be obtained before start — another active state license is required to be eligible for the VA temp license
• License required if applicable
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP required; ACCS preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients in a Level 4 NICU setting
• Candidates may be floated in accordance with their clinical experience
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Former travelers must wait 12 months before returning to this facility in a travel capacity
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• 13-week contract length
