RECREATION THERAPIST - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Recreation Therapist Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM or 8:00AM-4:30PM, 40 Hours a week, 80 hours per pay period Unit: Behavioral Health unit Location: Upper Valley Medical Center Education - Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation or in recreation with a therapeutic emphasis required. Masters preferred. Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (C.T.R.S.) and/or Ohio registration as Recreation Therapy Consultant or Therapist (R.R.T.C. or R.T.R.) required. Previous inpatient, adult, or adolescent / child experience preferred. Prefer knowledge of mental health and chemical dependency treatment. Experiential therapy or education experience preferred.
