Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Tele, Travel assignment in Plattsburgh, New York. Start date 06/18/2026 for a 4-week contract in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range $2,143–$2,359. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 Nights. This position supports Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients with ED Hold coverage as needed and may require floating to related tele unit staff.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct bedside nursing care to Med Surg Tele patients following unit protocols and care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and fluids; monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Perform assessments, document in the electronic medical record (EPIC), and coordinate with interdisciplinary team for care planning and discharge planning
- Utilize IV pumps, perform bladder scans, glucose monitoring, and perform routine blood draws as assigned
- Float to MS Tele units and ED Hold as needed; collaborate with CNA/PCTs, unit clerks, and charge nurses to maintain patient flow and safety
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate and ensure chart accuracy and regulatory compliance

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; license must be on file at submission
- AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS required prior to starting
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Med/Surg Tele
- CMSRN certification preferred; ability to float to MS Tele and ED Hold as needed; reliable transportation to shifts
