Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and equipment with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools
Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate assembly
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify dimensions and tolerances
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics to guide assembly processes
Conduct manual handling tasks safely while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols
Perform machining tasks as needed to prepare parts for assembly or repair
Ensure quality control by inspecting assembled components with measuring instruments and verifying against specifications
Skills

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate assembly
Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and manufacturing standards
Experience with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Ability to interpret production documents and shop math for accurate measurements and calculations
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, soldering equipment, and specialized industrial tools
Mechanical knowledge related to machining, soldering, and component installation
Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings for mechanical blueprint interpretation
Knowledge of safety procedures including proper PPE use during manual handling and assembly tasks
Mechanically inclined.
Bilingual a plus.
