Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry night shift position requiring telemetry and cardiac experience with ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.

Details

• Hospital telemetry unit serving primarily med/surg and med-tele overflow patients with some simple cardiac cases
• Patient population includes stable chest pain rule-outs, A-Fib with RVR, CHF, and stroke rule-out patients
• Occasional administration of Cardizem (max rate 15) and amiodarone drips
• Patient ratio of 5–6 patients per nurse
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Telemetry and cardiac nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
