Data Center Technician

Our Fortune 500 client, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the I&A Logistics Support team supporting data center operations and hardware management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Center Technician Location: Quincy, WA Duration: 18 month contract Pay Range: $25/hour What's the Job? Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accurate data management Coordinate and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities Monitor data center systems for equipment failure or errors and respond appropriately Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance activities Support destruction of data bearing devices following all documented procedures and runbooks What's Needed? Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required 1-2 years experience required Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively Experience working in a data center environment or with IT hardware preferred What's in it for me?
