10175 FL-54, New Port Richey, FL 34655, USA Job Description Head Teller - Trinity Branch Major Duties and Responsibilities: Performs member service functions on a daily basis as needed. Performs paying and receiving functions daily as needed. Assists the Branch Manager with training, directing, coaching and evaluation of performance within the department; identifies performance problems and works with the Branch Manager to take appropriate action. Monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Takes action to resolve any out of compliance issues. Responsible for the completion of a CTR for every cash transaction received and/or disbursed exceeding $10,000.00. This is inclusive of multiple cash transactions that are done on behalf of the same person in one business day and the head teller has knowledge of such transaction. After the CTRs complete, it must be approved by being initialed by one of the following: Head Teller, Assistant Manager or Manager before forwarding the completed form to the operations team for final approval. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Head Teller to make the compliance officer aware of any suspicious conduct and/or transactions that they feel are warranted. The compliance officer will make the determination of whether a SAR should be generated after reviewing the information. Schedules and monitors daily activities of tellers. Orders daily cash requirement for the credit union. Manages vault cash.
