Legal Recruiter – Attorney Recruiting Preferred Locations: West Coast or Midwest (Remote) About QPWB Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. As we continue our strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced Legal Recruiter to help attract and hire top legal talent across our national platform. This position is ideal for a proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with attorneys and law firm leaders, and is passionate about identifying high-performing legal talent. The preferred location for this role is on the West Coast or in the Midwest to support the firm's continued expansion in those regions. Position Summary The Legal Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle attorney recruiting across multiple offices and practice groups. This individual will partner closely with firm leadership, practice group leaders, and Human Resources to develop and execute strategic recruiting initiatives that support QPWB's continued growth. The successful candidate will be a relationship-builder, strategic sourcer, and trusted advisor capable of identifying and attracting attorneys at all levels, from associates to partners, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Key Responsibilities Attorney Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for attorney positions across the firm's national footprint. Partner with practice group leaders and hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies. Source, identify, and engage qualified attorney candidates through direct outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, legal industry databases, professional associations, and other recruiting channels. Build and maintain robust pipelines of legal talent for current and anticipated hiring needs. Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess experience, credentials, practice fit, compensation expectations, and long-term career objectives. Coordinate candidate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and firm leadership throughout the hiring process. Present qualified candidates and provide hiring recommendations to decision-makers. Negotiate offers and assist in managing the onboarding transition for successful hires. Strategic Recruiting Initiatives Develop and execute recruiting strategies to support firm growth in key markets, with a particular focus on the West Coast and Midwest. Assist with lateral partner and practice group recruiting initiatives. Attend legal industry conferences, networking events, career fairs, and bar association functions as needed. Promote QPWB's employer brand and unique value proposition within the legal marketplace. Develop relationships with law schools, legal organizations, and industry groups to strengthen talent pipelines. Recruiting Operations & Analytics Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Generate recruiting metrics and reports for firm leadership, including pipeline activity, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring trends. Monitor legal market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to support recruiting efforts. Collaborate with Human Resources and firm leadership on recruiting-related initiatives and special projects. Qualifications Required Minimum of two (2) years of legal recruiting experience, preferably recruiting attorneys in a law firm environment. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Experience sourcing and recruiting passive attorney candidates. Strong understanding of legal recruiting best practices and attorney hiring processes. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed national team. Preferred Experience recruiting lateral attorneys, senior associates, counsel, and partners. Experience working with Rippling or similar Applicant Tracking Systems. Knowledge of insurance defense, civil litigation, healthcare, labor and employment, transportation, construction, or other defense-oriented practice areas. Experience supporting recruiting initiatives across multiple geographic markets.
