Location: FLC Beacon Hill 1625 South Columbian Way Seattle WA 98108 Job Overview Full Life Care is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated in 1980, dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. We have an exciting opportunity for a Program and Activities Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities Build a caring relationship with clients to assist with their needs and goals, collaborating with caregivers and team members to support care plans Maintain care by observing and communicating changes in client condition Promote a safe and healthy environment for the client Promote client independence, guide education, and encourage engagement by leading activities that clients enjoy Support a respectful and engaging group environment Monitor participation in activities and provide support as needed Assist with kitchen duties such as meal prep, food service, and dishwashing Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of experience in a health or social services setting is a plus, but not required Completion of HIV/AIDS information course (can be completed after hire) Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted) Completion of a background check, drug screen. Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.
