The role will design, code, and debug in multiple languages, conduct analysis and reviews, and integrate software with existing systems. The engineer will drive quality assurance, performance tuning, and documentation while maintaining standards compliance and evaluating new technologies. Must have Safer Payments experience. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $62.00 to $72.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities: Execute full lifecycle application development. Design, code, and debug applications in various software languages. Perform software, code, and requirements analysis with reviews. Identify code metrics and perform system risk and reliability analysis. Apply object-oriented design and analysis. Develop software modeling and simulation. Design front-end graphical user interfaces. Conduct software testing and quality assurance. Perform performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation. Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Integrate software with existing systems. Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation. Maintain standards compliance. Implement localization or globalization of software. Experience Requirements: Demonstrated Safer Payments experience. Proficiency across multiple programming languages. Experience with OOA/OOD, testing, performance tuning, and integration. Ability to conduct thorough analyses and reviews across the SDLC. Education Requirements: Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
