Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Puyallup, Washington. Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 8 hours, days Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Review patients' medical history, ask patients questions, and observe them doing tasks. Evaluate a patient's condition and needs. Develop a treatment plan, identifying specific goals and activities. Help people with various disabilities perform different tasks. Evaluate a patient's home or workplace and recommend improvements. Educate a patient's family and employer about accommodations and care. Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on usage. Assess and record patient's activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged. BLS and NBCOT‑OTR National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Preference for candidates with 2 years of experience (subject to additional certification).
