Dining Service Associates$16.10 - $18.31 / hourElderwood of Lakeside at Brockport is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Dining Service Associates.Team members are responsible for ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents by working in the kitchen to prepare food and beverages during tray line meal service in accordance with applicable regulations and resident needs.Schedule Options:5:45am-1:45pm OR 7am-3pm, every other weekend required-- Full Time OR Part Time (22.5 hours/ week)4:30pm-8pm, every other weekend required-- Part Time (15 hours/ week)Responsibilities1. Assists in the preparation of resident meals according to department policy and position assignment.2. Adheres to the resident's diet order, texture/consistency modifications, and menu preferences during the preparation and service of food items and beverages.3. Performs all responsibilities of the designated position assignment during the scheduled shift in accordance with all safety regulations and standards of practice.4. Assists in care and maintenance of kitchen environment and equipment.5. Regularly contributes to, and actively participates in, facility and department staff meetings and inservices.6. Utilizes electronic timekeeping system as directed.7. Arrives to work on time, regularly, and works as scheduled.8. Recognizes and follows the dress code of the facility including wearing name tag at all times.9. Follows policy and procedure regarding all electronic devices, computers, tablets, etc.10. Supports and abides by Elderwood's Mission, Vision, and Values.11. Abides by Elderwood's businesses code of conduct, compliance and HIPAA policies.12. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor, management staff or Administrator.QualificationsMinimum of 16 years of ageEmployment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individualsPrior customer service experienceServSafe certification or willingness to obtainPhysical stamina necessary for constant activityHS diploma or equivalent preferredPrior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desiredThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
