As the Department Leader, Tailored Marketing Solutions, you will lead a high-impact marketing organization focused on helping some of the firm's most successful financial advisors accelerate growth through sophisticated, personalized marketing strategies and services. This leadership role is responsible for defining and executing growth marketing strategies that connect prospects and clients with Edward Jones through integrated online and offline experiences. The team you'll lead supports top-producing financial advisors across the U.S. by delivering bespoke marketing solutions through programs including Premier Practice Marketing and EJ Field Agency providing dedicated expertise in campaign strategy, creative development, and marketing execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in agency leadership, strategic marketing, account management, and/or client service, with a passion for building trusted relationships and delivering measurable business outcomes. You will lead teams that function as strategic marketing consultants to financial advisors, helping them grow their practices through targeted, audience-centered marketing programs that combine local relevance with national brand strength. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong partnerships across Experience, Brand, and Marketing, collaborate with senior leaders, and align creative resources to deliver integrated marketing strategies that drive demand and support growth across key client segments, including Core, High Net Worth, and Workplace. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring marketing investments create meaningful impact for advisors, clients, and the firm. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of growth marketing strategies that attract new clients and deepen existing client relationships across the U.S. and Canada.Oversee multiple marketing capabilities, including go-to-market strategy, omnichannel campaign planning, digital marketing, paid media, lead management, and advisor marketing solutions.Direct teams responsible for engaging prospects and clients through integrated online and offline experiences that drive business growth and measurable outcomes.Develop and execute segment-specific growth strategies that generate demand, increase client engagement, and support firm priorities.Establish departmental vision, objectives, KPIs, and performance measures, ensuring accountability for results and business impact.Partner with senior leaders across business, marketing, and client segments to align resources, priorities, and growth initiatives.Drive the evolution of growth marketing capabilities, including marketing strategy, performance marketing, audience nurturing, journey orchestration, and advisor-facing marketing programs.Sponsor and lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that deliver innovative solutions and improve marketing effectiveness across the firm.Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and results-oriented culture that embraces change, innovation, and continuous improvement.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience leading strategic marketing, growth, or business initiatives within complex organizations, including 5+ years of people leadership experience.Proven success developing and executing enterprise-scale marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.Experience leading integrated, multi-channel marketing programs and cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.Demonstrated ability to influence, present to, and build alignment with senior executives and key stakeholders.Strong business acumen with the ability to translate organizational priorities into actionable plans and outcomes.Track record of leading high-performing teams, managing budgets, establishing KPIs, and driving accountability for results.Exceptional leadership, communication, relationship-building, and change management skills, with a focus on developing talent and fostering innovation.Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per weekCompany DescriptionJoin a financial services firm where your contributions are valued.
