Garden Center Sales Associate
Join our team this as a Garden Center Sales Associate! We're looking for passionate individuals who love plants and want to help our customers find the perfect additions for their homes and gardens.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Help customers with plant selections and answer their questions about care and maintenance.
- Plant Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose issues such as fungus, pests, or other plant health concerns.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the quality of plants and merchandise, ensuring that everything is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Knowledge Application: Understand various plant types and their specific environmental needs to provide tailored advice to customers.
- Stocking and Unloading: Assist in unloading delivery trucks and stocking merchandise efficiently.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
- Passion for Plants: A genuine enthusiasm for horticulture and a desire to share that passion with customers.
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail or gardening environment is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
