In-Home Caregiver

The In-Home Caregiver provides compassionate, respectful, and reliable assistance to individuals who require support with daily living activities in their homes. Caregivers help clients maintain their independence, safety, and quality of life while providing companionship and personal care services. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences Provide medication reminders as directed by the client or healthcare provider Assist with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean living environment Help with grocery shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments when required Monitor and report changes in the client\'s physical, emotional, or mental condition Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs as directed Maintain accurate records of services provided and client observations Follow care plans and adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and client rights policies Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous caregiving, home health aide, CNA, or related experience preferred, but not required Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and family members Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to pass background checks and meet state requirements CPR and First Aid certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable nature Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Knowledge of basic caregiving and personal care practices Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily activities Physical Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients as required Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Ability to safely operate a vehicle, if transportation duties are required Work Environment Private residences and client homes May require evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling Exposure to various home environments and conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr
