Research Coordinator

Abacus is seeking a Research Coordinator in Dayton, OH. This part-time position will provide administrative, event planning, and research support for faculty, staff, and medical students.

Schedule: 3 days/week at 8 hours/day

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual Research Symposium, including event planning, communications, logistics, and speaker support.
• Manage student travel award applications, approvals, and expense reimbursements.
• Coordinate poster board and easel requests for research events.
• Monitor and respond to Research Affairs email inquiries.
• Assist with event coordination, departmental communications, and administrative projects.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administrative support, event coordination, project coordination, or higher education preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email communications.
