As an Access Control Officer at a leading automotive location, you will manage visitor and employee access, support badge processes, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate locations. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive facility buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage locations, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions. Assist with traffic flow and delivery coordination at designated access points while helping to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly site operations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
