About the Company

Sam's membership MAP is an ad-tech startup, part of Walmart's largest success companies. We build a platform for brands and advertisers to help Sam's club members find the right merchandise at the right moment using data from millions of transactions.

What you'll do

• Master PowerPoint decks and write compelling, effective pitches for internal and external audiences.
• Embark on and implement the Sam's membership MAP brand voice, adapting it for executives and varied audiences.
• Collaborate with designers and sales teams to duplicate, edit, and improve existing assets.
• Write speeches, press releases, and ad copy.
• Think creatively to develop new, exciting business ideas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in advertising, media, retail, or scriptwriting.
• Bachelor's degree in advertising, humanities, journalism, or a related field; portfolio and writing samples are essential.
• Excellent command of written English, able to craft compelling yet concise stories.
• Experience writing diverse marketing content: ads, presentation decks, press releases, social media, video scripts.
• Adaptable, innovative, multitasking, able to deliver promptly and resolve issues.
• Strong time-management, written communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, perseverance, and relationship building.
• Advertising, marketing, or communications background preferred.
• Portfolio with samples; candidates may be asked to complete a quick writing assignment.
