Residing on 88 acres on the east side of Evansville, Ind., our facility provides medical treatment for chronic mental illness and substance abuse disorders from our dedicated team of psychiatrists and advanced practice professionals. Active Treatment helps our patients achieve their goals directed towards living in the most non-restrictive environment possible. Our team of professionals assist our patients in the treatment process involving medical staff, nursing, psychology, social work, rehabilitation therapy and our community integration program. Evansville State Hospital continues to maintain accreditation through The Joint Commission as an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital as well as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services certification as a Psychiatric Medicare/Medicaid Hospital.Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $34,216.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience.A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows:Compile information relative to the assigned program area.Coordinate correspondence for information requests.Organize and maintain current and historical files related to the program.Organize program reports, applications, and maintain consultative services.Maintain and organize program assets.Prepare all program related training materials.The job profile is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.What You'll Need for Success: Individuals in this role should minimally be able to articulate or demonstrate the following:General knowledge of the program area.Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations pertaining to the assigned program area and its affects upon other agency operations.Ability to gather and compile program materials.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.Basic knowledge of accounting principles.A degree is not required.
