DSP Substitute

As a DSP Substitute, you will provide on-site care and supervision for adults with developmental disabilities. You'll assist with daily living activities and ensure each member's health, safety, and well-being in a supportive and empowering environment.

Job tasks include:

• Build meaningful, supportive relationships with individuals
• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, hygiene, etc.)
• Support with food shopping, menu planning, and meal prep
• Assist with fire drills, health & safety routines, and overall care
• Transport members to medical appointments, recreation, and community events
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Complete all required documentation in compliance with regulations
• Support social engagement and help arrange group activities
• Collaborate with families and staff for optimal care
• Attend trainings, meetings, and agency events as needed
• Ensure compliance with all background checks and required screenings
• Perform other duties as needed to support program success

Union County, NJ | Flexible Hours | Minimum 30 hrs/month Evenings, Overnights, and Weekends Available
