This team is responsible for automating and improving the testing efficiency of both the individual avionics and the completed satellites.WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:Lead the deployment and utilization of our internal test automation platform for future spacecraft programsProvide critical support to the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) team as they execute spacecraft test campaigns using our softwareCollaborate with other users of our software such as systems, flight software, ground software, and operations, adding features and managing deployments to meet their diverse needsInvestigate, resolve, and bury forever bugs and issues that other teams encounterYOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS AS AVIONICS AUTOMATION TEST ENGINEER II:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline2+ years of experience in space, ideally with a spacecraft test, systems, or spacecraft software background2+ years of experience with programming in the context of distributed applicationsExperience with LinuxAbility to obtain a Top-Secret clearanceTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:Secret or Top-Secret clearanceExperience with python, javascript, and/or typescriptExperience with software deployment tools such as Docker or KubernetesExperience with networking and ITExperience with software unit testing, such as pytest or robotframeworkThis position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Join one of the world's fastest-growing space companies and own a piece of it.
