Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure optimal diagnostic images
• Skillfully operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Meticulously document procedures while maintaining patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
