Warehouse Technician

The ideal candidate should enjoy active, hands-on work and thrive in a team-oriented environment. This role involves waste management tasks requiring extensive walking, pulling, and lifting. For items exceeding 50 lbs., assistance will be provided. The position entails manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and twisting. The manager seeks a candidate with manual dexterity and prior warehouse experience. Applicants should be reliable, cooperative, and capable of working independently when needed. Proactivity is a must, as well as a willingness to assist others without requiring constant direction. Free parking is available, with options for validation or reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, stock, and ship used office equipment.
• Report to the Wholesale Warehouse Manager.
• Unload incoming freight and document relevant inventory and marketing details.
• Stock inventory in appropriate bin locations.
• Assist in physical inventory processes.
• Pull and prepare sales orders for shipment.
• Build second decks in ocean-going containers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or related experience.
• Capability to work in confined spaces handling heavy equipment consistently.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Willingness to work in a typical warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, moderate temperature, and noise levels.
• Ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex data and instructions effectively.
• Exposure to conditions involving minor cuts, burns, and chemical solvents/cleaners is common.
• Physical effort is required, including lifting items up to 75 lbs. and moving objects weighing up to 700 lbs. on wheels.
• Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling to service floor-level equipment.
