Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Alcentra Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and emotional well-being. \n
- Developing personalized treatment plans based on clients’ unique circumstances and goals. \n
- Delivering face-to-face therapy sessions via telehealth platforms to individuals, couples, and families. \n
- Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy to maximize client outcomes. \n
- Providing immediate crisis intervention and support when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being. \n
- Collaborating with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide integrated care. \n
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, keeping accurate and timely documentation regarding assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes. \n
- Participating in regular case reviews, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices. \n
Your primary focus will be on individuals, couples, and families from the Knoxville area, addressing a broad spectrum of issues such as anxiety, depression, communication difficulties, trauma, and relationship conflicts. By employing a client-centered approach, you will foster a safe environment for clients to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies.
Qualifications\nTo excel in this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

- A valid, active LMFT license in Tennessee, with no disciplinary actions. \n
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, complemented by subsequent education resulting in a Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related discipline. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or mental health setting, demonstrating practical application of therapeutic skills. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring quality care for clients. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a strong sense of empathy. \n
While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and those who have participated in multidisciplinary care teams. Candidates who bring experience in specialized therapeutic approaches or relevant certifications will also stand out.
