Bill Rate: 50-55 Visa: Any. 6+ Months contractJob DutiesGather specs and collaborate with US team members to develop data pipelines for a customer data lakeParticipate in the development and testing of an operational customer data platform to enable self-service reporting, data science, and digitalDevelop and test streaming data pipelines from multiple data sourcesDevelop and test data services and APIsGuide the client's development team in AWS Data Engineering pipeline design and best practicesSkills and Experience5+ years as a Data Engineer working on Spark, and streaming data ingestion and processingAt least 3+ years of experience in building Data Engineering pipelines on AWS using (S3, EMR, Lake Formation, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, SQS, SWS, Lambda, EMR, etc.)Must have experience working on Data LakesDeveloping APIs using AWS API Gateway is a plusMust have experience in working with SparkMust have experience on capturing incremental data changes, streaming data ingestion and stream processingMust be a self-starter and willing to learnMust be hands-onMust be client-facingMust have strong verbal and written communication skills
