Role Description The Landscaper role is a full-time, seasonal, on-site position based in Urbana, IL. This role involves performing daily landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, pruning, mowing, and general garden care across customer properties and nursery grounds. Responsibilities include assisting with landscape installations, following design plans, setting up soaker hose systems, and ensuring safe operation of tools and equipment. The Landscaper will also help load materials, maintain a clean and organized work area, and interact courteously with customers and team members while completing assigned projects on schedule. Qualifications Strong skills in landscaping and landscape maintenance, including routine care of outdoor spaces. Ability to assist with landscape design implementation, following plans and layout instructions. Capacity for physical outdoor work in varied weather, including lifting, bending, and extended standing. Attention to safety procedures and proper use of hand tools, power equipment, and protective gear. Reliable time management, teamwork skills, and clear communication with supervisors and customers.
