Electro Mechanical Technician

Base Hourly Compensation Range: $49 - $55. Shift: Must be willing to work either day and/or night shift; 12 hours per day, 2/2/3 Schedule. Location: DrinkPAK’s Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Type: Full Time, Hourly. Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment. Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility. Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with DrinkPAK’s defined processes. Maintain, repair, and diagnose issues with Siemens-based industrial control systems. Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner. Keep alert for safety issues and escalate immediately. May fill in for production operator, as needed. Create and report repairs throughout the shift. Complete the required work order paperwork and document parts and material usage. Understand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Respond promptly and honor commitments to internal and external customers. Make recommendations to continuously improve policies, methods, procedures, and/or products. Use Personal Protective Equipment where required. Maintain regular and predictable attendance to ensure equipment and facility uptime. Qualifications Experience or knowledge of Siemens Automation (TIA) architecture is preferred. High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation, or other similar manufacturing-related specialization. At least 10+ years of food/beverage manufacturing experience required. Beverage filling maintenance experience preferred. Ability to program temperature controllers, Honeywell controllers, AC inverters, DC controllers, and PLC knowledge. Thorough knowledge of occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for safe performance of assigned duties. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment electrically, hydraulically, pneumatically, electro-mechanically, and mechanically. Ability to install, inspect, repair, and maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and associated systems of all production and supporting equipment safely. Demonstrate effective communication and resolution across multiple departments. Adaptability to react appropriately to unexpected changes. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of the plant or machine center. Safety, continuous improvement, and solution-driven mindset.
