Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM

Job Description: The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. This role demands a strong background in acute care and the ability to work collaboratively with a small team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient safety throughout procedures.
• Perform vascular access procedures, including PICC lines and midlines.
• Assist with conscious sedation protocols and use of critical care equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless care experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
