About the Position

Job Title: Speech Pathologist Profession: Speech Pathology Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, M-F Hours per Shift: 5-8 Experience: Master's Degree or foreign equivalent required. License: Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice required. Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Must-Have: American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Valid Driver's License and must be at least 21 years of age or older required. Description: Provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, care needs, interventions, and outcomes. Identifies changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters. Reviews treatment plans and assesses individual performances to modify, change, or write new programs. Maintains documentation as required by law and organizational policy. Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
