Then you are the perfect candidate for the Assistant Manager position at Tivoli Bowl in Downers Grove, IL.We are looking for people-people, who are energized by creating a positive environment for their co-workers and guests at Tivoli Bowl, a bowling center and underground lounge in the heart of downtown Downers Grove, IL.If this sounds like you, apply today!Job duties:Stock Bar/Fridge/FreezerCheck on lanes and bar guests to get orders and quality checksCoordinate parties and rentalsSupport teammates as neededBooking Private Rentals over the phoneTraining teammatesCount the drawers at open and closing of shiftsEnsure Open and Closing Checklists are completedInspect side work, quality, cleanlinessEnsure bathroom cleanliness and stock as neededPrepare Handoff Memo for next shift LeaderCommunicate with GM regarding trends, issues, training needs, incident reports, etc.Assist with InventoryCheck in and organize deliveries, Sign for and turn in invoices to GM after inspected receipt of goods.Performance evaluations on teams under their purview, in coordination with GMRequirements:Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beveragesHospitality-oriented personalityPositive attitudeCritical thinking and interpersonal skillsPreferred experience (1-2 years) in foodservice or bowling operations leadershipAbility to lift up to 30 lbs.Have current, or be willing to obtain, Illinois BASSET certificationHave current, or be willing to obtain, (ANSI Accredited) Manager Food Safety certificationBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance options (employee and dependent coverage).FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts).401(k) retirement plan options.Paid Time Off (PLAWA)Salary: $17.00 an hour plus tips
