Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr We’re seeking a Business Segment Controller to join our leadership team and drive financial accuracy, strategic planning, and performance analysis across our manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the Division VP – Business Unit Controller, this role will support our Garden City, NY site and collaborate closely with our finance team in Reynosa, Mexico. Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting Ensure accuracy across financial statements and compliance with GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and lease accounting Drive the annual budget and forecasting process, including KPI and metric reporting Partner with Operations and Engineering on cost controls, KPIs, and VA/VE reporting Analyze balance sheet fluctuations and flag key issues to leadership Monitor inventory (E&O), support internal audits, and lead cross-functional planning Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or Master’s preferred) 6–8 years of accounting experience; manufacturing & public accounting highly preferred Deep knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and internal controls (SOX 404) Strong Excel skills; experience with Oracle, Hyperion a plus Proven leadership, analytical mindset, and ability to collaborate across functions and borders This is a high-impact role for a financial leader who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven manufacturing environment.
