We currently have an opening for a Social Worker 4 position and are looking for someone with experience in working with individuals who have emotional and/or behavioral disorders, including addictive disorders. This position will provide direct client care. Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical psychologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff regarding therapeutic interventions, diagnosis, and provision of evidence-based treatments via individual, group, and family therapy modalities. Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus: A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience. The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here. Job Duties As a Social Worker, you will: Provide direct client care. Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical psychologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff regarding therapeutic interventions, diagnosis, and the provision of evidence-based treatments via individual, group, and family therapy modalities. Document therapy notes within established timelines into an EHR (Electronic Health Record) System. Provide screenings, triage, and referral services for clients seeking treatment, and will provide emergency evaluations when clinically needed. Possess and maintain the necessary licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
