Details Home health setting serving Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients Patient care includes cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care (basic, ABI compression, wound vac), Pleurx/Asept drain care, foley catheter changes, staple/suture removal, glucometer and pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, lab draws/venipuncture, IV skills, and PICC line or midline care and dressing changes Caseload of 6–8 home visits per day Shift hours vary based on HomeCare office needs: Mon–Fri 8a–5p or 9a–6p, or Thurs–Mon/Fri–Tues rotations with alternating weekend shifts Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on office needs Documentation systems used: BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet Equipment provided includes a laptop, MiFi hotspot, and portable printer Requirements Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of skilled home health nursing experience required; private duty nursing experience alone will not be accepted OASIS training and hands‑on experience required Proficiency in IV therapy and wound care required Experience with high‑risk diagnoses including heart failure (HF), COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke Experience with general medical diagnoses and post‑op care Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required to perform home visits COVID vaccination required, or exemption form on file Flu shot required or declination on file; mandatory mask wearing at all times while on assignment in either case 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Perform skilled home visits across a varied patient caseload covering cardiopulmonary, wound care, IV therapy, and high‑risk chronic condition management Scrub color: any solid color Local candidates are accepted for this position 13‑week contract American Traveler Job ID #P-715825.
