Overview
Group 1 GMC Southwest is looking to add a qualified Certified Diesel Technician to our team!
Are you an experienced Diesel Technician ready to advance your career? Are you ready to work in a technician-focused environment with strong earnings potential? If so, we want to meet you. Apply now!Responsibilities
- Perform efficient and accurate work in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work
- Maintain an organized shop area
- Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of service work
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of Diesel Technician experience strongly preferred
- ASE certification(s) in brakes, electrical/electronic systems, or engine performance preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Strong focus on delivering an excellent customer service experience
- High attention to detail
