Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Caregiver to provide essential respite care for a child with complex health needs in Monument, CO. In this highly rewarding role, you will work closely with the family to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the child, allowing the parents and primary caregivers a much-needed opportunity to rest and recharge. This position offers 16 hours per week with highly flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, one-on-one respite care for a child with complex health needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care as outlined in the client's care plan.
• Engage the child in developmentally appropriate and enriching activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the parents and Cherry Hills Home Care Corp management regarding the child's well-being and any changes in condition.
• Respond calmly and effectively to the child's specific health and comfort needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous care-giving experience is required; experience working with children or individuals with complex/special health needs is highly preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, patient, and highly observant demeanor.
• Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home in Monument, CO 80132.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
