Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to ensure that electrical systems/components meet regulatory standards and project specifications in the Baltimore/Maryland area. The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating electrical systems, equipment, and components for safety, quality, and compliance. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards Perform tests and evaluations to identify potential issues or hazards Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports Provide recommendations for improving electrical systems and components Communicate findings to stakeholders and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and technicians Stay up-to-date on latest industry standards and best practices Participate in meetings and training sessions as required Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification or associate degree in electrical technology or related field preferred Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector or in a similar role and ability to read and understand electrical drawing, plans and specs, and experience with inspection of new major electrical installations such as switch-gear, transformers, etc. Familiarity with Oracle Unifier or similar software. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and adept at using iPad for report preparation, photos, other documentation, and pulling up plans and specs and uploading documentation. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you have the required qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply!
