Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact providing specialized support to students in grades 7 and 8 as a Special Education Teacher for the next school year. This contract role is full-time, offering approximately 35 hours weekly, and is dedicated to serving students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The assignment spans from September 1, 2026, through June 2, 2027. You’ll work in a collaborative environment focused on helping each learner succeed.

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education licensure required
• Experience supporting 7th and 8th grade students with SLD and/or ASD ideal
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills for productive collaboration with staff and families
• Comfort working with diverse student backgrounds and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned with student needs and IEPs
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for 7th and 8th graders
• Collect and analyze student data to inform instructional strategies
• Maintain thorough records and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to maximize student growth
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and contribute to a positive school culture
