National Radio Astronomy Observatory
The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) seeks an Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and optimize RF, microwave, and digital electronics for world-class radio telescopes. You will translate scientific requirements into robust hardware, support prototyping, testing, and integration, and troubleshoot complex signal chains in observatory systems. Working in a collaborative, research-focused environment, you’ll partner with astronomers, engineers, and software teams to enhance instrument performance and reliability, support upgrades, and document designs while contributing to cutting-edge astrophysics and telecommunications technology.
