If this excites you, we’d love to have you join us. About the Role As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play an essential role in supporting our operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include: Manage the transfers of new and existing prescriptions between pharmacies and use multiple computer systems to enter prescriptions and communicate with patients Translate prescriptions provided by the prescriber via phone and enter information in the patient’s profile in accordance with state regulations Verify the accuracy of prescriptions, ensuring they meet all legal, regulatory, and quality standards. Master our internal systems: develop full operational knowledge and understanding of the pharmacy and manage internal and external pharmacy operations (including communications with physicians and insurers) Requirements You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries You hold a valid Pharmacist License in the State of New York or New Jersey and must reside in NY or NJ. You are ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences, days off, or scheduled time off and are interested in full-time employment with Capsule You are a recent graduate with retail pharmacy experience Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule, including morning/evening shifts, and weekends.Monday - Friday: 9 am - 7 pm / 10 am - 8 pm, Saturdays: 8 am - 6 pm / 10:30 am - 8:30 pm, Sundays: 8 am - 6 pm / 8:30 am - 8:30 pm Per Diem shifts Sunday to Saturday for up to 10 hours per shift during Pharmacy hours M-F 8am-10pm and Sat-Sun 9am-6pm. Please note this position is in person at our pharmacy.
